Kids Sunglasses

UV-protective sunglasses for babies and kids that actually stay on. Children's eyes are more vulnerable to UV damage than adult eyes, but most kids sunglasses are flimsy fashion accessories that fall off immediately. Our sunglasses are designed with flexible frames and secure fits for babies from 0 to 2.5 years and kids from 3 to 10 years.

FAQs for Kids Sunglasses

Provides answers to a list of typical questions that users might ask
Do babies and kids really need sunglasses?

Yes. Children's eyes are more susceptible to UV damage than adults as the lens in a young child's eye transmits more UV light. In India's strong sun, UV protection from an early age is important — especially during outdoor activities, beach trips, or long daytime travel.

What UV protection should I look for in kids' sunglasses?

Look for 100% UV400 protection (blocks both UVA and UVB rays). Polarised lenses are a bonus as they reduce glare. The lens colour does not indicate UV protection — a clear lens with UV400 coating is better than dark-tinted lenses without it.

From what age can kids start wearing sunglasses?

Sunglasses can be worn from 6 months onwards for outdoor use. The frames should fit snugly without slipping — wraparound styles work well for babies. By 2-3 years, most children can keep sunglasses on for extended periods when they're used to wearing them from an early age.

Are flexible rubber frames better than hard frames for kids?

For young children, flexible rubber or TR90 frames are far better — they can be bent without breaking, are comfortable to wear, and don't hurt if accidentally knocked against the face. Hard plastic frames can crack and create sharp edges. Always prioritise safety over aesthetics for young kids.
