Use a nasal tweezer or aspirator designed for babies. Cotton buds are not safe for infant nostrils. From birth. Cleaning a newborn's tongue and gums after each feed removes milk residue and prevents bacterial build-up. Once teeth appear, switch to a finger toothbrush, then a soft toothbrush as more teeth come in around 12-18 months.

You can start from 2-3 weeks old once the umbilical cord has healed. Use a herbal baby massage oil specifically formulated for infants. Avoid strong or adult oils on newborn skin.
